Renting an apartment in Bangkok – Three factors to consider
The capital of Thailand, Bangkok, is a vibrant city and on of the cheapest capitals to live in. Look at the wealth of shopping, restaurants, nightlife and culture and one will see that Bangkok is a great place to live with focus on life and fun Apart from enjoying the attractions Bangkok has to offer many people leave with fond memories of its mostly friendly people and wonderful vibrant culture. Bangkok is also one of the safest Capital cities in the world.
Ask anyone who has visited Bangkok, and he will tell you that finding a condo for rent in Bangkok was one of the easiest tasks for him.
When considering a Bangkok apartment rental these are 3 main factors you should consider
1. What is the rent? While this might be the primary concern for most people, the average rent for a 1 bedroom apartment is about 25.000 Baht. However the closer to the centre of the city you stay, the more expensive it will of course be with rents up towards 40.000 Baht for a 1 bed
2. Closeness to the city centre? – Even with excellent public transportation options in Bangkok and well conected suburbs, something to consider is the heavy traffic at rush hour. A trip that normally takes 20 minutes daytime can take 2 hours or more in rush hour. Make sure you choose a home in close approximity to where you will be the most.
3. How crowded the place is? – Crowd is something, you cannot avoid in Bangkok. This city remains perennially crowded; day and night. Find an accommodation that is in one of the relatively less-crowded places. This could be a challenge because in doing so, you might end up compromising one of the two factors discussed before.
House for rent in Bangkok, can be a daunting but fun task.
When you are looking for your home you should carefully consider all these three criterias. Finding the right place to live in can be a tough task however thinking things thru before you decide is a wise thing to do as you probably don´t want to move anytime soon again.
