Kill Fleas for Good

If you’ve ever dealt a bad case of fleas in your home, you know it can be one of the worst nightmares imaginable. Aside from watching your pet suffer, flea bites can make life horrible for humans as well. If you want to secret to getting rid of fleas, check out the plan below.

Don’t worry, because after a lot of research, I’ve come up with a flea control guide that’s very effective. You have to keep in mind, however, that you need to keep to this plan, work on it every day, and don’t let up.

The first thing to do is treat your pet for fleas. Frontline is the most recommended treatment for fleas on pets. Frontline is available for dogs and cats, and comes in small, single-dose vials. It’s administered to the animal’s skin between the shoulders. Frontline will kill fleas for a month afterwards.

The next thing to do is to kill the fleas in your home. This is best accomplished by washing everything you can in a washing machine, including pet bedding, area rugs, upholstery. Once you’ve done this, vacuum your carpets thoroughly, and continue to vacuum as much as possible.

Step three is to repeat this process. If your pet stops scratching, don’t stop treating them. Don’t stop vacuuming and otherwise treating your home. Sprays and foggers can also be used to treat problem areas, especially where you pet sleeps. The most important thing is to keep at it. You might think you’re rid of the fleas, only to find that you’ve been re-infested because you didn’t stick with it.
