Industrial music Collides with Addiction Recovery In a Surprising Way
Industrial music has nearly always been darker, more negative, yet that has been evolving. There is this really sick recovery rock I came across by Matt Soren the other day that has a unique angle on electro-rock. His new CD is a mix of industrial rock and the concept of overcoming addiction.
There are some music downloads on his URL at www.returnfrombroken.com. It looks like they are raw versions while finishing official mixes. They sound really good to me but that’s just me. It is cool to see more electro-rock like this written particularly for addiction recovery in a more upbeat way from an addict that has had the experience and is making a difference for others. It’s nice to see this type of synth-rock stemming from the industrial scene which is almost always more rebellious in nature.
In addition, he has free tracks you can get from his music page and more in his members area which is all no charge. I also saw discount passes, album art, and other stuff. It will be exciting to see the album once it is available.
