Could This Be An Idiot Proof Diet?
What is it you are looking for when you are searching for diets that actually work? Are you looking to lose your weight sensibly or are you after the magic bullet that helps you lose weight overnight with no effort? If it is the latter then you will never find a diet that actually works for you because more often than not when you go the fad diet route rather than using a healthy way of losing weight, you more often gain back any weight you may have lost plus a bit more.
The most important thing you have to do is acknowledge the fact that you are going to have to make changes in the foods you choose, and also not to set your expectations overly high and by that I mean expecting to lose all of your weight in a time frame that is not physically possible. So, lets have a look at the food choices first
If you eat lots of food made from refined white flour and also have a high amount of sugar in your daily intake, then this needs to be changed straight away; this little bit of information alone will set you on the right track to losing your weight. These food groups make your body work the wrong way as it ends out burning them off and storing fat instead of it being the other way around. You do not have to be totally carb free but the lower the intake the better.
After that you want to ensure the food you eat is proper food. The reason for this is food manufacturers put so much junk in their food that it is not good for your health in general never mind your weight. So if you want to eat burgers or chicken nuggets for instance, then have a go at mincing meat in a food processor or cutting up a chicken breast . Does the ham you buy look like it has come from an animal or not? I think you get the idea.
Something that there is no escaping from is that you are going to also have to exercise. Doing this will kick start your body’s metabolism which means you’ll be burning fat, and you don’t even need a gym membership for this, half an hour a day of vigorous activity will do the trick – however, there is one thing I would recommend and that is getting yourself to the gym to lift some weights.
The reason you want to lift weights is because it increases your resting metabolism so you are still burning fat when you are doing other things. If you are concerned about getting bulky from doing weights, don’t be you’ll only get big if you set out to do so, but make sure you include this activity if you really want to achieve your weight loss goals.
So, by cutting out sugar and white flour, eating proper food instead of processed and exercising you will find that you have finally found a quick weight loss diet that actually works for you
