The micro bloging platform Twitter has carved itself a media storm in the last few months with a media frenzy of stars and celebrities discussing Twitter on their video casts , and marketing experts telling us we can leverage Twitter to hundreds of fans , the talk about Twitter is hard to avoid . You most likely know people on Twitter and your suppliers may have invited you to their Twitter profile . That segues us to our main topic . What are YOU doing about it for yourself?
A lot of people, actually I think most, don’t even “get” Twitter. And that’s partly because it can be many different things to almost as many people. And to some extent, they may even be all true, at least to that person.

It may not seem like it, but comic books are a huge part of the history of many nations. You can go to any country in the world and find comic books for sale. Such as the U.S., which has been the largest comic book producer in the world since it produced its first comic book in 1934.
However, comics go much farther back than 1934 in the form of comic strips commonly seen in the newspaper. But, if you’ve ever read a comic book or comic strip you’re probably wondering why the word “comic” is in the title. The reason is, when comic strips first came out, their main focus was humor, so naturally the first comic books were focused on humor. But in today’s modern comic books, humor isn’t the focal point.
There are many other genres of comic books, as seen in Japan and Europe. However in America, the superhero genre leaves the others in the dust. But what makes comic books so popular? Well generally, it’s the thrilling adventures of superheroes like Superman, Spiderman and Batman, which are known as some of the best comic books around. Analog mastering is one of the best secrets of the best mastering engineers now. As most everything is mixed in the digital realm, the best mastering engineers will do what’s called analog mastering. The digital recording is put into an analog recording in order to be mastered through original analog processors, though a lot of times it is also recorded to an two-track machine in order to get the fatness that original analog tape gives to the project. It also takes the brittleness away from all digital recordings, and can round out the low end giving the low frequencies that rich analog sound.
Though CD mastering often does cost a little more than traditional all digital mastering, since it takes more time and there are the costs for the analog tape, but for important projects, it can be the end step in accomplishing the top quality for the CD. The reason for this is digital recordings sound ”cold” to a lot of listeners because regardless of how loud the sound gets, digital always gives you accurate yet flat reproduction. Analog tape, however, softens as the volume increases in level, so high-ends are smoothed over instead of clipping, which becomes a warm, fat sound as the harmonics are balanced out. It is a modified signal from the original which the human ear finds appealing. In addition, an increased input sound will create a larger difference. As the top ranges soften up first, this means that as the signal becomes louder, the highs naturally smooth out, resulting in a less ”cold”, and much better sound. This is the beauty of layback mastering.
