Hi Friends!
Another Alex Jeffreys Coaching Session ticked off the list!
I’m at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf while I’m writing this. It’s a Saturday for me. I was working two jobs the whole month: my day job and my alter ego as a web marketer. After yesterday’s 6-hour coaching session, and working like a beheaded chicken at work,
I crashed and slept like a log for more than 12 hours straight.
Now, the afternoon sun is bright and sunny, and there’s a noisy crowd in the shop at Island Plaza. Most of them look like Fitness First people and they are talking up a storm.
I just walked in with camo shorts, a Bruce Lee (hoo-watta!! weave in weave out, hoo…) t-shirt and a Lenovo netbook in tow. I was dead set in making a blog or two by today! So here we go…
My Take-Aways
I want to start with the take-aways because this feels like a longish blog for me. So to give my readers instant gratification, I’ll put the take-aways ahead of the rest. 
1. I’m going to win the contest, Alex! Alex Jeffreys is a smart coach, in his efforts to keep us on our toes and make us take action, he’s given us something big to shoot for. In a nutshell, the most eyeballs who look at our blogs will get a nice prize.
2. And I’m going to help people AND Win! Yes, readers, you heard it right. I’m going to help others and still win. I believe that the way the universe works, you help people with a full heart, you’ll get a lot of love in return, including getting what you want.
3. I’m going to step out of my comfort zone and do some videos and slides. Writing’s no problem to me, but videos and youtube stuff is a whole different territory for me. Nevertheless, I’m going to to do it!
4. I’m going to follow my plan. Yes, like most humans, sometimes I still slack off. But for me to win the contest, I’ll follow my quantified daily and weekly plans to the letter.
It sound sooo simple, but believe me, its going to be a fun ride.
The Coaching
The last Alex Jeffreys Coaching Session was held at about the same time as the last one. 7am Malaysia, 11pm UK, 6pm Eastern Standard, 10am Australia.
As such, I wish I can see how many people are in the class and if I could get my hands on a list of my classmates. I really want to get together and have a great time with these 500-odd people.
The Fortunate 500. Sounds like King Leonidas’ 300 at Thermopylae. Unlike them, we’ll survive. And like them we’ll turn into Legends.
The 4th Alex Jeffreys Coaching Session Module was about Social Media Money. And the name is quite appropriate.
Alex has an interesting theory about blogs. And he relates this to ocean fishing.
I ask you, where the best place to catch a large school of fish? Where when there’s a vast ocean, can you 100% of the time find enough fish to fill your nets? The answer may surprise you: near or under oil rigs.
The Oil Rig Scenario
When an oil rig is set up, its pylons become occupied by the denizens of the seas. Algae starts growing on the pylons, attracting mollusks to grow on the pylons as well, attracting fish, which attracts even more fish to the oil rig.
Soon enough you got yourself a full-fledged ecosystem running under your oil rig. Left alone for years, it become a long-term fixture in the open seas.
Relate this to blogging. Your blog is the oil rig.
When you create blog articles (algae), you create food for the people make comments on (clams), which attracts web surfers looking for information(fish), to write more comments on your articles (clams) if it is really really good, attracting even more fish (web surfers) to the site….

Soon enough you get referred, tagged, bookmarked and copied, and you’re famous. You’ll be viewed as an expert anda really cool dude to hang around with. A simple strategy which requires patience, honesty, cooperation, and a little bit of hard work on the outset.
The lecture took 2 hours and the rest was the time Alex fielded questions from EVERYBODY who had a question in the call. He absolutely (again) didn’t stop until we had no more questions to ask (and we did ask a ton of questions).
By the time it was over, it was 1pm Malaysia, 5am UK, 12mn Eastern Standard, 4pm Australia.
It was long, and I lost sleep over it, but well worth the time and effort we put in. My classmates are absolutely worth helping out! You can never find another nice bunch of people.

Golf is a sport steeped in tradition, and for that very reason, changes in the game are always made very slowly. So the modern golf swing has not gone through much change over the years since Ben Hogan’s diminutive frame and little book defined what a good swing should look like.
All that may soon be changing, though. A couple of respected golf instructors have developed a new golf swing after 20 years of research using real people, science and the latest computer technology. The new swing is called Stack and Tilt. It is so named because you stack all your weight over the ball and keep it there throughout the swing. The only way to effectively do this as your body is swing the club in an arc around yourbody is to “tilt” your torso toward the target.
By keeping the head directly over the ball trhoughout the swing, the golfer mainatins excellent balance and hits the ball with a precise, descending blow which rockets the golf ball off the clubface in an explosion of power. All this is done without the need to take a full backswing.
This swing is simpler, has less moving parts and forces you to hit the ball with a descending blow. A traditional golf swing has many moving parts and each motion is another opportunity for power “leaks” if not done absolutely correctly. By having fewer moving parts, there is less chance that the swing power is wasted in other areas, so all of the force is delivered to the ball.
Much of the stack and tilt golf swing seems to go against everything you’ve ever learned about swinging the club, and that can make it difficult to switch. Old habits are hard to break. But if you take the time to learn the new swing, you may find that it provides everything you need for a super consistent swing and added distance.

Is it really possible to make money in UK through Property Investment even during recession?
Some people are concerned about the possibility that the housing market in the UK is headed for a crash similar to what has happened in Spain and the USA. While there are some commonalities between these housing markets and our own, the prices here are not going to approach the levels seen in those countries.
How can we be so confident about this? Because the demand for housing far exceeds the supply.
Government projections are that only 100,000 new homes will be built in the UK this year; this is only a quarter as many as are needed before 2009! So until housing construction in the UK can match the large and growing demand for housing, the market is totally safe.
The truth behind hype: why the market is in no danger of a crash.
Some in the media may tell you that the UK is on a course towards Spanish and American style housing crashes, but in truth nothing of the sort is occurring:
1. Spain’s is housing market is struggling because they are still building more housing than there is demand for. While for property investors this is a great scenario, it isn’t so healthy for resellers.
The UK has exactly the opposite problem.
183,000 new homes were built in the UK in 2005. This may sound like a lot of new construction, but is far short of the amount of new homes needed to impact the market to the extent that prices would drop. This would require the construction of 245,000 new homes annually, a goal we are falling far short of at the present.
2. Between 2000 and 2006, the UK’s population rose by 1.7 million, which meant that around 800,000 new homes would be needed. Even though over 1 million homes were built in this timeframe, it was still not enough to account for the demand created by second home ownership.
3. When consumers are looking to buy a new home, they don’t compare their salary against the purchase price of the home, they compare it against the size of their mortgage payments.
While you will hear the argument that the proportion of mortgage payments to household income has grown from 15% in 2001 to 19.6% in 2005, these numbers are still far short of the 34% seen in the housing crash of 1989.
4. As economic growth continues, it is only natural that certain areas have kept pace with demand while others can simply not grow fast enough.

There are a number of different every day ailments which we may suffer with which are not necessarily life-threatening but they can certainly be frustrating for those of us that have them. It is not necessary for us to go to a university in order to be able to solve them but we certainly do want to make sure that we have factual information before we try any kind of home remedy.
Many of these problems come in the form of skin conditions such as skin tags or warts. Although it is possible for us to get rid of these items at home, we need to make sure that we do so properly in order to avoid making the problem worse. There are many foods that you need to be aware of that are laden with cholesterol. It is important that you are aware of the many types of foods for the sake of your family’s health.
A List of Cholesterol Laden Foods
Interesting enough, a sheep or beef brain is on the top of the list for the most cholesterol in foods. Makes you wanna run out and buy a couple, eh? Well, rest assured I won’t be anytime soon!! That is for sure.
Next on the list is fish oil. While there are many good attributes for it, there are also precautions that you must know about. Fish oil has a lot of cholesterol.
Chicken liver anyone? – Well, coming in as number three on the list is tasty chicken liver. I think that I will pass on this one as well. I am sure that many of us will.
Raw eggs (especially the yolk) – I am sure that there are many people out there who love the incredible edible egg, right? Yeah, I do but it doesn’t like us so we need to eat them in moderation.
Beef bi-products – Liver or tongues anyone? Nah, I didn’t think so. There are many people who like to fry up a batch now and again. If the grease isn’t bad enough, then eat some bi-products to add more to your already high cholesterol.
Canned crustaceans? – Uhm you mean as in shrimp and fish? I don’t think so. There are many that you think in your mind are very good for you. So since they are ‘good’ for you, you decide to go ahead and fry them; making them better? I sincerely doubt it. They are still high in cholesterol.
Fast foods – Well, this is definitely a no-brainer (to say the least). Uhm, maybe or maybe not, who knows. Maybe you didn’t know that those morning biscuits and sausage were loaded with all the fattening grease? Perhaps you don’t think about it while driving down the road on your way to work? Who knows, but now you do.
Pork anyone? – Did you know that pork is high in fat and cholesterol already. They are some of the nastiest animals and eat just about anything. They are full of cholesterol and sadly enough, many people fry them in grease.
There are many types of food that are loaded with cholesterol. We can choose to be knowledgeable in what we do or we can continue feeding our bodies junk. The choice is yours!

Mandarin learning soars outside China
In just five years, the number of non-Chinese adults learn Mandarin Chinese has soared to 30 million. What is fuelling this expansion, and will it change the status of English as a global language?
Shanghai-born lawyer Kailan Shu Lucas of Chinese Learning Centre organises lessons in Mandarin, the main Chinese language, for pupils in London – and she is very busy. She now co-ordinates lessons for 12 London schools. She believes that in most cases, having their young ones study the language is a career calculation made by the folks. “folks nowadays think that in 10-20 years’ time, when their young ones are in adulthood, China will be even bigger – and so learning Chinese will be a very helpful tool,” she told BBC World Service’s Analysis programme. “This will be a very useful, important language to learn.”
Versatile In London, the parents of most of the non-Chinese young ones studying Mandarin Chinese are from the finance industry. Kailan said that in this industry, China is “a big thing.” children in finance see Chinese as an advantage for their children “That influences the people houghts,” she added. “They want their kidlittle ones to learn Chinese and be more versatile in terms of job prospects in the future.” The belief is that China is not just a new rival, but a new provider, not just a UK phenomenon – in the US too, numbers of young ones Chinese flashcards have rocketed.
In 1998, just 6,000 young ones enrolled in Mandarin programmes. That figure is now 50,000. “Students want to sign up for it; human beings are asking for it; communities are asking for it,” said Brett Lovejoy, of the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages. “It’s self-evident that children will be much better off economically and in job seeking if Chinese programmes are adopted.” In the UK, the number of students at colleges and universities taking Chinese as their main subject doubled between 2002 and 2005. Similar increases are reported in most Western nations. This has not happened without encouragement from Beijing, where the government is actively promoting the speaking of Mandarin abroad.
Hundreds of teachers have been sent to Africa, and since 2004, China has set up “Confucius Institutes” around the world, actively promoting Mandarin Chinese. So far, they have signed contracts with 40 universities in 25 countries to establish these joint projects. Global language And professor David Crystal, a leading authority on how languages work and how they change, explained that the explosion in the numbers learning Chinese is also down to demographic influences at home.
“In modern times, as cultures have changed – especially in Britain, the United States and Australia – as the countries have become increasingly multi-cultural and multiethnic, then the languages that come with those groups of immigrants become an increasingly important part of the culture,” he said. “London is one of the multi-lingual centres of the world… the monolingual tradition of Spanish in the past is hanging very much, and I think Chinese is one of the important factors. people who used to be able to make their way in the world as monolingual Portuguese speakers are now fnding that they’ve got to compete with nationals who are genuinely multilingual.”
Despite the big increase, most analysts agree Chinese is not about to replace Spanish as the “global language” in the immediate future. But professor Crystal added that this may not always be the case. “It all depends on the power of the nationals who speak it – especially their economic power,” said professor Crystal. “A thousand years ago, children would have said it would be absurd that Latin would not be spoken in 1,000 years’ time. But we know that has happened. It can only take 100 years or so for the language balance of power to shift. “Money talks. Currently, the language money talks is the dollar. But it might not always be that way.”
