So, what is so special about writing? I mean, I have to compose few articles each week about Akumal on my second language and I feel it is terribly hard!
I speak the language just right and I’ve been to Akumal almost every weekend for the past several months and still I found it hard to just sit and write about it. I understand that part of my writing nervousness comes when my average imagination and personal experience is compared by my inner critic to the writing of the authors of my great literature taste.

So I better start by writing my own experience, but I should warn you since my story is a good one, my life drastically and positively became different after making the decision of leaving the big city to establish my new home next to Akumal.
Akumal, situated in the Riviera Maya, is the place where I found love! I literally left my heart in Akumal and I just had to come back for it. It’s not only about the withe powdery sandy beach, nor the hypnotyc color of the sea, it’s not about the calm you experience nor about the delicious and fresh food you taste, not even about the great people living there!
It’s something very special. Something that you have to come to feel it by yourself to be able to understand. Belive me, you will also fall in love to the place as I did.
